Tom comes to us as a veteran of the bass guitar. He started his career at the age of eight years old on violin, mastering it through high school and auditioning for the Chicago philharmonic in the late 60's. During the 60's, Tom also dedicated time to learning the keyboard and arranging music. As he mastered the craft of more sting instruments he decided to keep the bottom in the band with his bass guitar. Through the 1970's and 1980's Tom toured with many well known bands and entertained from Phoenix AZ, to Boston Mass. During the 1980's he was an active member N.A.R.A.S. (The National Association of Recording Artists). One of Tom's biggest acclamations came when performing for Ronald Reagan's presidential welcoming committee in Chicago in 1980. Tom not only perfected his talent on stage in front of hundreds of fans but he also hit the recording studios periodically to record for distinguished rhythm and blues and ethnic bands. In the past 18 years Tom has played for an established wedding band. In 2001 he joined a band called Radio Hits. The band dismantled in late 2001 where Tom and two other members formed Route 66. He now shares the Route 66 stage with five other talented musicians. Performing the music his fans know and love with strong dedication to making the band a success, his performance with the band can only be summarized as "Putting the kick in Route 66". |
